I want to give an update on our butchering options. ( Info on website is out of date )

We use a local slaughter house that does a great job cutting up our bears at a reasonable price. Cuts to order, vacuum packaging, sausage to order etc.

Do to the fact that we are not the only outfitter he butchers for, as we get close to the end of the week he cannot gurantee bears will be done and frozen by your Sunday departure. When this happens bears will be skinned and quartered at the lodge and put in our freezer. Saturday bears will not be frozend by Sunday so hunters will need to keep ice on meat and hide for the ride home. Dry ice can be picked up in Bangor.

We will go over all of this again at our Monday morning meeting.
