July Covid update

July Covid update

11 JULY 2020

Aside from the pain in the butt pandemic, it's shaping up to be a fantastic bear season. Lack of natural foods this year will have the bears feeding hard on the bait sites.

This was posted yesterday on the Maine dept of inland Fisheries & Wildlife website.

As far as we know, nothing has changed from our last blog and we are hopeful that the July 31st lifting of the 14 day quarantine is still on schedule.

Due to improving conditions 3 more states are exemt from the 14 day quarantine. New York, New Jersey and Connecticut  are now added to Vermont and New Hampshire. We are hopeful this trend will continue and by July 31st all states will be good to come to Maine. This came as a bit of a shock to us as those 3 states were hit so hard.

Our phone is starting to ring a bit more but we still have room in all of  the first 3 weeks of the season.

We still are not accepting deposits just in case things change. This continues to be a last minute thing for everyone, but we'll be ready. I'm sure we'll have to follow some social distancing rules and we are working hard to be ready for that

If you want to book a hunt with us, give us a call and we will pencil you in.

Keep an eye on our blog as we will update as things happen.

We start baiting in 3 weeks !
