Update and Thank you

Last fall, ownership of the lodge and bear hunts transitioned to a new [unafilliated with EMGS] guide service. It was a very hard and emotional decision for us. We've been doing bear hunts for over 30 years. We have invested so much of our time, resources, and energy bringing the lodge back to life, building our amazing clientelle and providing a great hunting experience. However, It was time for us to take life a bit slower.
While letting go of the lodge and the bear hunts was a very difficult decision for us we are excited to move forward investing that energy and time into our freshwater fishing, our new lake side "On the Rocks" Cottage vacation rental, upland bird hunting, and Matt's 'true love' Whitetail deer hunting.
We would like to thank everyone who has joined us at the lodge over the years and helped to make our time there as successful as it was. Many wonderful friendships began at the lodge and many great experiences were had. We will miss seeing you all at the lodge each year, the wonderful times, great hunts and great food we all enjoyed at the lodge. We put our heart and soul into the Wilderness Lodge and our bear hunts for many years and it will be missed.

Eagle Mountain Guide Service is still operating and going strong. We hope to see some of you in the future for our Freshwater Fishing, our lake side "On the Rocks" Cottage, Upland Bird Hunting or Matt's Whitetail deer hunts.
Thank you for your friendship, support, for the great times, and great memories there and we look forward to making more.
Matt and Lisa
